Judy Collins has announced plans for her “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” Farewell Tour, a multi-year run of performances that will continue through 2027.
The tour is set to begin July and currently includes more than 50 dates across North America. Collins is set to make stops in cities such as Ocean City, Denver, San Diego, Des Moines, Nashville, Honolulu, Chicago and Orlando. The tour is scheduled to wrap up on April 10 in Portland, OR, at Aladdin Theater.
Notably, the farewell trek will feature a number of special guests at select performances, including Richard Thompson, Elles Bailey, Bruce Cockburn, and Amanda Shires.
Outside of the farewell tour, Collins will take part in “America Made in Virginia: 250 Years Together,” a live Fourth of July concert in Colonial Williamsburg. The event will be broadcast nationally on PBS, PBS.org, and the PBS app.
The celebration will feature performances from Collins alongside Michael Feinstein, Ryan Speedo Green, Kelli O’Hara, and Adrienne Warren.
In a statement, Collins shared, “Touring has been the great thread of my life — city to city, song to song, face to face. The audiences have carried me for decades, and I’ve never stopped being moved by what can happen in a room when we truly listen to one another.”
“This tour is my way of saying thank you — out loud, together.”
